BLULANS Warranty Policy
At BLULANS, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our e-bikes. We offer a comprehensive warranty to ensure that your purchase is protected. Please read our warranty terms below to understand the coverage and conditions.
1. Warranty Coverage
- E-Bikes: BLULANS offers a 2-year limited warranty from the date of purchase on all e-bikes. This warranty covers any manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship on the frame, battery, motor, and electrical components.
- Accessories: All accessories purchased from BLULANS are covered under a 3 to 12 months limited warranty.
2. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear on parts such as tires, brake pads, cables, grips, and chainrings.
- Damage Due to Misuse: Damage caused by accidents, abuse, neglect, or improper use.
- Unauthorized Modifications: Any damage resulting from modifications or repairs not performed by an authorized BLULANS service center.
- Environmental Damage: Damage caused by environmental factors such as water, salt, snow, or extreme temperatures.
3. Battery Warranty
- The battery is covered for 2 years from the date of purchase. The warranty covers any defect in materials or workmanship but does not cover damage caused by improper maintenance, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.
- Batteries must be stored and charged according to the user manual guidelines for warranty claims to remain valid.
4. Making a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
- Contact BLULANS Customer Service: Reach out to us at jamesz@blulans.com or +86 15862828077 with details of your issue, including your order number, purchase date, and a description of the defect.
- Provide Evidence: You may be asked to provide photographs or videos of the defect.
- Return or Repair: If the issue is covered under warranty, we will either repair or replace the defective part(s). In some cases, you may be required to ship the product or part back to us. BLULANS will cover the shipping costs for any authorized warranty returns within the warranty period.
5. Limitations of Liability
- BLULANS is not responsible for any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits or downtime.
- Warranty coverage is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
6. Authorized Repairs
For the warranty to remain valid, all repairs and maintenance must be performed by BLULANS or an authorized service provider. Any unauthorized repairs may void the warranty.
7. How to Maintain Your Warranty
- Regular Maintenance: To ensure the longevity of your BLULANS e-bike and maintain warranty coverage, perform regular maintenance as recommended in the user manual.
- Proper Storage: Store your e-bike in a dry, protected environment, especially the battery, which should be charged and stored properly to prevent damage.
8. Extended Warranty
For additional peace of mind, we offer an extended warranty option that covers your e-bike for up to 3 years from the date of purchase. Please contact our customer service for more information on pricing and coverage details.
9. International Warranty
If you purchased your e-bike internationally, the warranty terms are still valid, but the customer is responsible for any shipping costs related to warranty claims outside of the original country of purchase.
